Terms of service.

How we quote, design, build and deliver a website — in plain language, before you commit to anything.

These terms in short

You get a free consultation and a fixed quote before work starts. You see a design preview and approve it before you are invoiced. The quote for your project sets the scope; where it differs from this page, the quote wins.

This page is a plain-language summary of how we work, not a substitute for a signed agreement. If you need a formal contract, ask us before the project starts.

The process

  • Discovery. A short call about your business, audience and goals, followed by a sitemap, scope and fixed quote.
  • Design preview. We design the key pages and share a private preview link. The preview shows the design direction and content structure — it is not yet the finished, production site.
  • Approval. You review the preview and request refinements within the agreed scope. We invoice only after you approve the design.
  • Build and launch. We build the final site, connect your domain and hand over the files, accounts and a short walkthrough.

Quotes and payment

Every project is quoted individually. The quote describes what is included, the number of pages, and the delivery estimate. Payment terms are set out on the invoice.

Work begins once the invoice is settled, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Third-party costs — such as domain registration, hosting, stock licences or booking-tool subscriptions — are the client's responsibility unless the quote says otherwise.

What we need from you

  • Text, logos, photography and brand assets, or approval for us to source suitable alternatives.
  • Timely feedback and approvals, so the project stays on schedule.
  • Confirmation that you have the rights to any content you send us.
  • Accurate business details for the pages we build.

Revisions and new scope

Refinements to the approved design direction are included as set out in your quote. New pages, new features, a change of direction or additional rounds beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately before we continue.

Timelines

Most projects go live within 2–4 weeks of the kickoff. Timelines depend on scope, on how quickly content arrives and on feedback, so they are estimates rather than guarantees. We will tell you early if a date is at risk.

Ownership

Once the project is paid in full, you own the final design and content we created for your business, along with the domain and accounts set up in your name. We keep the right to show the finished work in our portfolio and social channels unless you ask us in writing not to.

Design concepts that are not selected remain ours. Fonts, photographs and software from third parties stay under their own licences.

No guarantees on rankings or sales

We build sites that are fast, accessible, mobile-first and structured well for search engines. We cannot guarantee a particular search ranking, traffic level or sales result — those depend on your market, content and marketing beyond the website.

Maintenance and support

Support after launch is included for a short period stated in your quote. Ongoing maintenance is optional and quoted separately. We are not responsible for changes made by you or another party after handover.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from the project. Our total liability for a project is limited to the fees paid for that project. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Pausing or ending a project

Either side may pause or end a project in writing. Work completed up to that point remains payable, and deliverables are handed over once the outstanding invoice is settled. Any deposit or advance payment is applied to the work already done.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask before the project starts — we would rather explain it than surprise you. Email apexwebstudiohq04@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp.
